If so, we want to speak with you! LaSalle Network has teamed up with a leading hospital system in downtown Chicago looking for a Senior Compensation Analyst to come on board on a consulting basis.

As a Senior Compensation Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in the design, development and execution of our client’s compensation programs, ensuring internal equity, external competitiveness and legal compliance. You'll collaborate closely with HR Business Partners and leaders across the organization to provide expert consultation and drive initiatives that align with their mission, vision and values.

Senior Compensation Analyst Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on larger compensation initiatives, recommending and implementing enhancements to programs and policies
  • Conduct thorough job evaluation and equity analyses, presenting data-driven recommendations to support decision-making
  • Partner with HR Business Partners to consult on departmental requests and create alignment across the hospital system
  • Lead large-scale market studies and propose cost-effective solutions to complex compensation issues
  • Manage the annual performance evaluation and merit increase process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Act as a compensation expert on system implementations and updates, collaborating with HRIS to maintain data integrity
  • Provide training and guidance to managers on compensation guidelines and decision-making processes
  • Lead departmental projects and contribute to the continuous improvement of compensation policies and procedures

Senior Compensation Analyst Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Human Resources Management or related discipline
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in Compensation or a related field, demonstrating strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Access and HRIS systems
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
  • Customer-service focused with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
  • Strong sense of urgency and agility in addressing client needs and executive requests
