Warehouse Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Lead, monitor, and provide guidance to facility staff to enhance performance, manage operating costs, and boost productivity
- Oversee the loading and dock activity to ensure a smooth flow of operation
- Manage paperwork processing and ensure timely transmission of data to relevant internal parties
- Oversee Maintenance and operations of trucks and trailers. Ensure all equipment is in good working order
- Establish and enforce policies and procedures while tracking facility performance metrics, including incident logs, service failures, and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures
- Maintain the cleanliness, upkeep, and functionality of the facility and its equipment
- Assist customers, carriers, and contractors as needed within the facility
- Maintain clear effective communication with all team members, including drivers, dock workers, and management
- Report all dock activities in a daily report including any concerns and room for improvement
Warehouse Supervisor Requirements:
- Proven experience (3+ years) in warehousing or logistics
- Self-starter with excellent communication skills
- Excellent organizational, leadership, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills
