LaSalle Network has partnered with our client, a renowned pioneer in the food industry, specializing culinary delights, to bring on a skilled Logistics Manager to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate for this role is an experienced logistics professional with a proven track record of optimizing supply chain operations, implementing cost-saving initiatives, and leading cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence.
Logistics Manager Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the company's logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall supply chain performance
- Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams, including procurement, operations, and customer service, to ensure seamless execution of logistics activities
- Establish and maintain relationships with carriers, suppliers, and logistics service providers to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of goods
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, such as on-time delivery, inventory levels, and transportation costs, to identify areas for improvement
- Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics processes and drive operational excellence
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards related to transportation, warehousing, and distribution
- Lead and develop a high-performing logistics team, providing coaching, guidance, and support as needed
Logistics Manager Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in logistics management, preferably within the CPG industry
- Strong understanding of transportation, warehousing, and distribution processes and best practices
- Proven track record of driving process improvements and cost savings initiatives within a logistics environment
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field
