Our client, a globally renowned Law Firm, is in search of an enthusiastic contract Learning, Development and Onboarding Specialist to join their team in Chicago, Illinois. This role involves designing, developing and leading training and development initiatives, identifying areas for improvement among employees and managers and creating solutions to strengthen existing talent within the organization.

Learning, Development and Onboarding Specialist Responsibilities: 
  • Create and develop dynamic materials to support the induction of new employees and learning initiatives, encompassing various stages such as pre-employment activities, orientation, training sessions, digital modules, virtual classrooms and workshops
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, subject matter experts and external partners to deliver top-tier learning solutions tailored to meet the unique needs and goals of the organization
  • Develop customized digital learning solutions designed to meet specific learning objectives and address identified challenges
  • Implement content within the company's learning management system, strategically organizing learning pathways for optimal engagement and effectiveness
  • Continuously update and refine training materials, including guides, workbooks, presentations and digital resources, to ensure they remain current and impactful
  • Lead engaging training sessions and workshops, fostering an environment conducive to learning and development, both in-person and virtually
  • Provide valuable insights and recommendations for enhancing content management processes and improving the overall user experience
Learning, Development and Onboarding Specialist Requirements: 
  • Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree or certification strongly preferred 
  • 5+ years of training and development experience
  • Proficiency in learning analytics and data analysis to assess training effectiveness
  • Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, cultivating stakeholder relationships and managing vendor partnership
  • Strong communication, both written and oral, and ability to communicate with and present to senior management
