As a Senior Accountant, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate books and records for all assigned entities. Your responsibilities will encompass a spectrum of financial tasks including cash and balance sheet reconciliations, daily and periodic general ledger entries and spearheading the month-end close process. Additionally, you'll be instrumental in preparing comprehensive financial reports, conducting variance analysis and providing critical insights through client and management reporting.
Senior Accountant Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate books and records for assigned entities
- Prepare cash and balance sheet reconciliations
- Execute daily and periodic general ledger entries
- Lead the month-end close process with precision
- Generate monthly financial reports (balance sheet, income statements, cash flows)
- Perform budget vs actual analysis and variance assessment
- Compile client and management reporting
- Facilitate debt and equity investor reporting
Senior Accountant Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- CPA preferred
- 5+ years of experience in accounting with a family office, public accounting, or financial services industry
- Advanced skills in Excel and accounting software (Microsoft D365)
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to process improve
