LaSalle Network has partnered with a leading carrier in refrigerated cargo, assisting in maintenance, repair, and home solutions. Our client is located in Lombard, IL, and is looking for a Sales Coordinator to join their team! This is a full time, hybrid position. Sales Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with EDI systems and vendors to ensure timely receipt of events and maintain data integrity
- Update systems accurately using proper interchange receipts provided by truckers and shippers
- Coordinate the off hire of containers back to leasing companies by contacting truckers to facilitate returns
- Proficiency in working with various Ocean terminal systems is required
- Manage misuse containers from other lines, ensuring they are returned to the owner at the Point of Delivery
- Maintain professionalism in email communication while working directly with box owners
- Assist truckers and shippers with street turns to apply containers to bookings
- Respond to all emails in the group email box within a two-hour timeframe
Sales Coordinator Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent qualification required
- Minimum of 6 months of industry experience with Ocean carriers is necessary
- Proficiency in Excel is required for data management tasks
- Positive attitude and ability to work effectively in a team environment are essential qualities
