LaSalle Network is hiring a Plant HR Manager for a leading food manufacturing organization in Washington, IN. This direct-hire opportunity is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys partnering with leadership, supporting employee relations and driving workforce engagement in a fast-paced production environment. The Plant HR Manager will play a key role in onboarding, compliance, employee relations and retention initiatives while serving as a trusted resource for both associates and management. Responsibilities:
- Serve as a key HR partner to plant leadership and associates, supporting employee relations and workforce initiatives
- Manage and facilitate new hire orientation programs to create a positive onboarding experience
- Coach and counsel supervisors on employee relations, attendance, performance and workforce management matters
- Ensure consistent application of company policies, procedures and employment practices
- Provide training to leadership teams on HR policies and best practices
- Serve as the first point of contact for payroll, benefits and general HR-related questions
- Support employee engagement and retention initiatives to improve workforce effectiveness
- Participate in peer review and management review processes
- Assist with HR compliance efforts, including documentation, audits and regulatory requirements
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and strengthen the overall employee experience
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Labor Relations or related field
- 5+ years of progressive human resources experience, preferably within a manufacturing or plant environment
- Previous experience supporting a manufacturing or plant environment preferred
- Knowledge of employment regulations, including ADA, EEOC, DOL, OFCCP and I-9 requirements
- Experience with employee relations, compliance initiatives and HR documentation
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels of an organization
- Experience with automated timekeeping systems preferred
- Ability to travel occasionally for meetings or business needs
Key Details:
- Compensation: $80,000-$90,000 annually, depending on experience
- Benefits: Comprehensive health, financial and wellness benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, FSA and 401(k)
- Location: Washington, IN
- Work Model: Fully On-Site, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
