Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day benefits administration, including processing enrollments, deferrals, and maintaining retirement plans.
- Conduct audits using Excel tools such as VLOOKUP’s and Pivot tables to ensure benefits data accuracy across systems.
- Support inquiries via email and phone, utilizing internal resources to resolve benefits questions and issues.
- Assist with vendor coordination for medical, dental, vision, life, disability, accident, critical illness, pet insurance, and identity theft plans.
- Help review and process claims and premium deductions, ensuring proper system flows and data accuracy.
- Support 401(k) plan administration, including deferrals, loans, and feed integration, with a focus on compliance and accuracy.
- Collaborate with HR and vendors to troubleshoot issues and improve benefits processes.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of benefits administration experience, including knowledge of self-funded health plans and 401(k) systems.
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees and vendors.
- Advanced Excel skills, including experience with VlookUps and Pivot tables.
- Ability to perform detailed audits and analyze benefits data.
- Self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of benefit deductibles, claims processing, and plan operations.
