2017 Making it Happen: Kevin Roeder

At LaSallemas, two of our annual awards were announced: LaSallian of the Year and Making It Happen. Making It Happen is awarded to a LaSallian who not only produced incredible results over the past year, but who ran through walls and broke down doors to do so. They were willing to do anything to accomplish their goals, and they pushed the needle for LaSalle.

This year, Kevin Roeder was recognized for the incredible year he’s had! Find out more about how Kevin pushed to produce this year, and what this award means to him:

What do you do at LaSalle?

I’m the Director of our Sales Recruiting team.  We support companies ranging from startups to the Enterprise level, who are looking to develop and expand their sales team on a national level.   I’m going on my second year with LaSalle Network.

Describe the moment your name was announced. What did you feel?

When my name was called, I was surprised and thrilled to win, especially because this is an award that so many people at LaSalle are qualified for.  I had a big smile on my face and it was amazing to see the support from my fellow teammates and colleagues. LaSalle is full of dedicated, hardworking, and results driven people.  It’s an honor to win this amazing award.

What does this award mean to you?

Hard work pays off.  Joining LaSalle a year ago, I didn’t know what to expect other than I was joining a company that was looking to develop a new group, Sales Recruiting.  I knew this was a great opportunity for both me and LaSalle to create something special.   I was dedicated to producing great results, what I didn’t know was that I was ultimately surrounding myself with a team who was equally committed to driving results. This award represents my commitment, but more importantly, the commitment of our team.

What have you accomplished in the last year that you’re particularly proud of?

It’s been a great year for the Sales Recruiting team.  I’m proud of my team, we contributed 129 placements ranging over 10+ states in Q1 2017.  AMAZING!!!  I guess I should also mention I got engaged. :)

Why are you proud to be a LaSallian?

I wish I joined LaSalle sooner in my career.  I knew LaSalle was special place when my team kicked off a search for 129 hires on a national level and the entire company came in on a Saturday to help source candidates. WHAT?  Where else do you see that?? People truly do care and it’s EXCITING!!  LaSalle is an amazing company that has allowed me to grow personally and professionally.  I’ve learned so much from new hires and fellow leaders.
