LaSalle Network is hiring for a confidential client seeking a Tax Accountant to join a growing public accounting firm in Chicago. This is a direct-hire opportunity for a tax professional who wants more than a siloed role. You’ll work directly alongside firm ownership, gain broad tax experience and have a clear path toward future leadership and potential partnership.
What's the job?

Prepare and review individual, partnership, S-Corp, corporate, trust and estate tax returns

Work directly with clients to gather information, answer questions and communicate tax-related matters

Support tax engagements across real estate, nonprofit and other industries

Collaborate closely with firm partners and senior professionals

Use accounting and tax software, including QuickBooks and UltraTax
-
Take ownership of client relationships and contribute to the firm's continued growth

Develop your technical and client-facing skills through hands-on mentorship
What's needed?

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field

Public accounting tax experience

CPA eligible or actively pursuing a CPA license

Strong accounting fundamentals and knowledge of tax concepts

Experience with individual, partnership, S-Corp, corporate, trust or estate returns

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Ability to work independently while collaborating in a small-office environment

Coachable, proactive personality with an interest in long-term growth
