Director, Talent Acquisition
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Director, Talent Acquisition to lead the talent acquisition strategy and recruiting function supporting a broad range of exempt and non-exempt positions, with a strong focus on AI, Machine Learning, Engineering, and other technical functions.
In this role, you will serve as a strategic talent advisor to executive business leaders, HR partners, and key stakeholders. You will develop and execute scalable recruiting strategies aligned with workforce planning, organizational growth, and long-term talent objectives.
The Director will be responsible for delivering top talent, leading and developing a high-performing recruiting team, and ensuring the recruiting function consistently meets hiring goals, service-level expectations, and performance metrics.
This is a highly visible leadership role requiring strong business acumen, strategic thinking, resourcefulness, sound judgment, and the ability to influence senior leaders while driving continuous improvement across the talent acquisition organization.
Key Responsibilities

Partner with executive leaders to understand workforce plans, organizational priorities, succession needs, and future talent requirements.

Develop and execute comprehensive talent acquisition strategies to support current and future hiring needs across technical and business functions.

Lead, coach, and develop a team of recruiters and sourcing specialists, establishing clear expectations and accountability for performance.

Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership by providing labor market intelligence, competitive talent insights, and data-driven hiring recommendations.

Establish recruiting priorities and allocate team resources effectively to support organizational growth objectives.

Monitor recruiting metrics, hiring trends, team productivity, and overall performance while providing regular updates to senior leadership.

Develop proactive talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill positions to ensure a strong and consistent flow of qualified candidates.

Partner with employer branding and recruitment marketing teams to strengthen the organization's presence and competitiveness in the talent market.

Leverage workforce analytics, talent supply-and-demand data, and market intelligence to support strategic workforce planning and talent decisions.

Identify and implement improvements to recruiting processes, technology, operational efficiency, and the overall candidate experience.

Collaborate closely with Human Resources, business leaders, and other stakeholders to align talent acquisition with broader workforce planning and retention strategies.

Ensure recruiting practices comply with applicable employment laws, company policies, and industry best practices.

Maintain a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and sound judgment when handling sensitive employee and candidate information.
Qualifications

8+ years of progressive talent acquisition experience, including leadership responsibility for recruiting teams supporting professional, technical, and leadership-level positions across multiple locations.

Demonstrated success developing and executing talent acquisition strategies in complex, high-growth environments.

Proven experience leading recruiters and sourcing teams while driving accountability, performance, and professional development.

Experience partnering with executive-level leaders, including Directors, Vice Presidents, and senior executives, to influence talent decisions and workforce planning.

Strong business acumen with the ability to translate organizational goals into scalable recruiting strategies.

Demonstrated ability to use recruiting metrics, workforce analytics, and labor market intelligence to drive hiring decisions and improve outcomes.

Strong leadership, collaboration, influencing, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Proven success building proactive talent pipelines and implementing creative sourcing strategies in highly competitive talent markets.

Strong understanding of employer branding, recruitment marketing, and candidate engagement strategies.

Experience with recruiting technology, CRM platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other talent acquisition tools.

Exceptional communication, executive presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience recruiting within AI, Machine Learning, Engineering, Technology, or other highly specialized technical disciplines.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $210,000–$225,000 annually
