LaSalle Network is partnering with our client to hire a Bilingual HR Coordinator in Chicago, Illinois for an on-site contract opportunity. Our client is looking for a bilingual (Spanish/English) HR support professional who can serve as a front-line resource for employees, answering basic HR questions, assisting with in-person support, and helping Spanish-speaking employees navigate employee/HR processes and technology.
This Bilingual HR Coordinator role is especially exciting for someone who enjoys hands-on, people-facing work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and wants to make an immediate impact while the team backfills and stabilizes day-to-day HR coverage.
Responsibilities

Provide first-line HR support by answering basic employee questions in Spanish and English and directing more complex items appropriately.

Assist Spanish-speaking employees in-person with completing HR/employee-related steps, including helping them navigate technology and process requirements.

Support administrative office tasks including answering phones, providing customer service, and maintaining professional communication with employees.

Contribute to basic HR projects and day-to-day coordination needs as assigned.

Partner with internal stakeholders to help ensure a smooth employee experience during a time-sensitive coverage need.
Qualifications

Bilingual in Spanish and English (required).

1+ years of office or administrative experience with strong customer service and phone etiquette.

Ability to use a computer confidently and support others who may be less comfortable with technology.

HR background preferred (HR coordinator/general HR exposure is a plus).

Comfortable working on-site in a manufacturing environment and interacting with a wide variety of employee personalities and professionalism levels.
