The temporary developer will be responsible for assisting the IT staff. The ability to work independently and solve problems efficiently is highly desired. Prior experience with system transitions or working in an IT support capacity is beneficial.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements for assigned tasks, project support and develop efficient, scalable, and high-quality software solutions. Keep abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to continuously enhance skills and stay updated on the latest development methodologies.

Technical Skill Set: Expert SQL capabilities; deep expertise in Kimball methodology (Star Schema, Fact and Dimension tables); strong experience with enterprise ETL/ELT pipelines and data warehousing platforms; performance tuning for complex analytical queries.


Soft Skill Set: Strategic systems thinker; strong business acumen (understanding why the data matters to the business); highly collaborative; strong desire for ownership and career progression into leadership.

What they will do: Partner directly with the Data Warehouse Lead to architect and build the enterprise data warehouse. They will develop robust ETL methodologies, design and populate Fact and Dimension tables, and ensure that operational data is transformed into highly optimized structures for enterprise reporting. They will actively learn the broader data ecosystem with the intent of eventually stepping into a primary leadership role.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.

  • Proven experience in software development, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in SQL programming, database design, and optimization

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team-oriented environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions.

  • Ability to multitask
