LaSalle Network has partnered with a growing oil and natural gas company in Plano, TX. They are looking to hire a Senior Joint Interest Accountant to their Accounting department. This organization is working towards providing the world with clean energy. They are a leader in CCUS and EOR operations and are growing rapidly year over year.
Senior Joint Interest Accountant Responsibilities:
- Maintain joint ventures and process equity group adjustments
- Monitor and support joint venture accounts receivable
- Manage owner calls regarding Joint Interest Billing Statements and 1099's
- Work with Operations personnel regarding corrections to capital and expense projects
- Record miscellaneous journal entries
- Review and process invoices for non-operated properties
- Reconcile general ledger accounts
- Compile month-end close process
- Maintain quarterly AR reports, research and resolve issues
- Maintain critical master data files within SAP for asset management
Senior Joint Interest Accountant Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in JIB accounting
- Experience in oil and gas industry
- Experience in management preferred
- Bachelor's degree preferred
