Our client, a global fortune 500 company, is looking to hire a Senior Internal Auditor at their corporate headquarters. They are seeking a highly professional individual to join their Internal Audit team. This Senior Internal Auditor will work alongside a dynamic and growing team and will travel 7% of the time (domestic).

The Senior Internal Auditor will work on compliance and operational audits. The ideal candidate will have a go getter attitude, be self-motivated and thrive in a fast-paced environment. They will be passionate about internal audit and eager to grow in that space. The role is budgeted for $90,000-$105,000 with bonus.

Senior Internal Auditor Responsibilities:  
  • Complete 4-6 audits per year of varying types
  • work well with leaders in other departments and coordinate audit plans
  • Create the plans from scratch and be involved in the full scope of the audit

Senior Internal Auditor Requirements:  
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business
  • 2-5 years of relevant accounting/audit/finance experience 
  • Experience in internal audit OR public accounting
  • “Self-starter” personality with an ability to mesh well with the current team
