LaSalle Network is partnering with a respected nonprofit healthcare organization to identify a Senior Financial Analyst for its Financial Planning & Analysis team.

The Senior Financial Analyst will play a critical role in financial planning, strategic analysis, budgeting, treasury support, and business decision-making across the health system.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in financial analysis, advanced modeling capabilities, and a deep understanding of healthcare finance. Candidates must have prior healthcare finance experience and be comfortable working in a complex, fast-paced hospital or health system environment.
Senior Financial Analyst Responsibilities

Lead complex financial analyses, forecasting models, projections, and executive-level reporting to support organizational decision-making.

Assist in the development, maintenance, and enhancement of the organization’s long-range financial planning model.

Perform scenario analyses related to operating performance, liquidity, capital planning, and financial sustainability.

Support treasury activities, including cash management, debt compliance monitoring, and investment analysis.

Partner with finance leadership during the annual operating and capital budgeting processes.

Analyze financial performance, operational trends, patient volumes, and reimbursement data to identify risks and opportunities.

Conduct care cost, utilization, and financial risk analyses to support strategic initiatives.

Evaluate business development opportunities, service line growth initiatives, and organizational investments through detailed financial modeling.

Prepare monthly management reports and communicate key financial trends, risks, and recommendations to leadership.

Develop compensation and workforce-related financial models to support organizational planning efforts.

Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, increase data accuracy, and enhance analytical capabilities.

Mentor and support junior financial analysts while serving as a resource for the broader finance team.

Stay informed on healthcare finance, reimbursement, regulatory, and industry trends that may impact organizational performance.
Qualifications

Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Bachelor’s degree with additional relevant experience will be considered.

Minimum of 5 years of progressive financial analysis experience.

Healthcare finance experience within a hospital, health system, physician group, or healthcare organization is required.

Strong understanding of healthcare financial operations, reimbursement methodologies, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills.

Demonstrated ability to interpret financial and operational data and develop strategic recommendations.

Strong knowledge of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.

Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or other business intelligence tools preferred.

Experience with healthcare planning and decision-support systems such as Axiom or similar platforms preferred.

Excellent presentation, written communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to both financial and non-financial audiences.

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results in a deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting nonprofit healthcare organizations, hospitals, or integrated health systems.

Exposure to strategic planning, treasury functions, and capital planning initiatives.

Experience building long-range financial plans and evaluating growth or expansion opportunities.

Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement, patient encounter data, and service line profitability analysis.
