Salesforce Business Analyst Responsibilities:  

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive view of current state processes and system landscape, evaluating efficiency and identifying pain points 

  • Act as a trusted partner to assigned departments, actively contributing to their business goals and initiatives 

  • Monitor end-user system usage, identifying trends and opportunities for engagement  

  • Design, document, and maintain system processes, providing training sessions for end-user groups 

  • Coordinate and assist with new feature/functionality rollouts, ensuring effective support and communications to user groups 

  • Assist with project management, contributing to major project success by coordinating inputs from various stakeholders 

  • Interface with business and IT stakeholders on a day-to-day basis to triage and gather requirements for system changes 

  • Collaborate with IT leadership on roadmap planning and prioritization 

  • Prepare management reports tracking deliverables, system usage KPIs, and delivery progress against the roadmap 

Salesforce Business Analyst Requirements:  

  • Fast learner with an analytical growth mindset, curiosity, and attention to detail  

  • Resilient and high-energy, with the drive to find solutions where clarity is lacking  

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing  

  • Willingness to work hard, take risks, and collaborate with a diverse set of business users 

  • At least 5 years of Business Analyst experience. 

  • 2-3 years of experience working with Salesforce.com, preferably Sales, Service & Marketing Clouds/ Prior consulting experience  

  • 4-year degree in a related field 

  • Strong experience generating requirements and process documentation 

  • Prior experience working with organizations such as Dealer/Franchise, OEM, and Retail business models 

  • Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills 

  • Humility to learn the business and current state processes 

  • Effective time management and value-based prioritization 

  • Honesty and integrity in all facets of the role, taking ownership and learning from mistakes 

  • Mature presence and poise to engage with senior leadership
