LaSalle Network has partnered with a global law firm in Chicago, IL to find a Legal E-Billing Analyst to join their team. This firm focuses on delivering world-class service and expertise, while also offering flexible billing arrangements to their clientele.
Our client works in a hybrid model and are seeking a brilliant “A” player to join their Financial Operations group in this critical role. The department offers a robust training program to position you for optimal success in the role and your career! Budgeted base salary for this position is up to $100,000 per year.
Legal E-Billing Analyst Responsibilities:
- Assist with the monthly billing cycle by distributing prebills, resolving revisions on a timely basis and finalizing accurate invoices
- Manage the e-billing hub, including invoicing and billing, for all attorney matters
- Work as the subject matter expert regarding any inquiries or discrepancies within the e-billing hub
- Respond to information requests from attorneys, clients and administrative staff related to book of business and billing reconciliations
- Utilize firm standard reporting tools to respond to requests from internal and external clients
- Maintain documentation on client related procedures and deadlines, as well as billing attorney preferences
- Assist department and firm leadership in ad-hoc requests and projects
Legal E-Billing Analyst Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business strongly preferred
- At least 2-5+ years of billing experience strongly preferred from a legal or professional services company
- Advanced Excel skills
- Ability to demonstrate a high level of business acumen and professionalism when working with internal and external clients at all levels
