LaSalle Network has partnered with an international manufacturing firm in hiring an Internal Communications Manager to join their team. This role will support the internal communications team in writing content including employee engagement pieces, business updates to employees and thought leadership pieces.

Internal Communications Manager Responsibilities:
- Design and execute a compelling communications plan including emails, presentations, newsletters, videos, blog posts, memos and intranet content, to convey key messages effectively
- Serve as a liaison between leadership and employees, communicating important announcements, policy changes and organizational updates
- Manage internal communication platforms and tools, ensuring they are user-friendly, up-to-date and in line with industry best practices
- Track and report on the effectiveness of communication strategies, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
- Write long form content on employee engagement programs, ghostwrite for the executive leadership team and write thought leadership pieces
- Work on an as-needed basis writing professional content business updates, employee/people focused content, campaigns about mental health awareness and sustainability
- Craft messaging for multiple media channels within the intranet
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices in internal communications to continually enhance communication strategies and channels
Internal Communications Manager Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or a related field required
- 5+ years of experience writing internal communications for organizations with 5,000+ employees
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in using communication tools and platforms
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Experience working in a manufacturing company is a plus!
