LaSalle Network is hiring an Interim Payroll Coordinator to join a fast-moving HR team in Bolingbrook. This is a critical 3-month contract with strong potential to extend to six months, designed for a senior-level payroll professional who thrives in complex, compliance-heavy environments. You’ll step in as the final checkpoint before payroll posts — ensuring accuracy, consistency and confidence across six U.S. and Canadian locations.
This Interim Payroll Coordinator role is ideal for someone who enjoys ownership, problem-solving and being the go-to payroll expert. You’ll partner closely with HR leadership and payroll preparation teams to keep union and non-union payroll running smoothly.
What’s the job?
- Serve as final reviewer for payroll cycles prior to posting
- Oversee certified payroll compliance and audit-ready documentation
- Manage union payroll processes, including dues and benefits reporting
- Review and optimize payroll workflows across multiple locations
- Support payroll system implementations and enhancements
- Act as liaison between Payroll and HR leadership
- 5–10 years of experience in complex payroll environments
- Proven union payroll and labor agreement compliance experience
- Strong knowledge of certified payroll reporting
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now preferred
- Multi-state and Canadian payroll exposure
- Consistent, stable work history with successful project delivery
- Up to $34/hour compensation
