As the CPA Controller, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the company's financial activities while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, developing and implementing internal controls, and providing strategic financial guidance to key stakeholders. CPA Controller Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of financial accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and general ledger functions
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Coordinate and lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process
- Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate the annual audit process and ensure compliance with audit requirements
- Provide financial guidance and support to department heads and senior management
- Stay current on industry trends, regulations and best practices to ensure the company's financial practices remain compliant and effective
- Support NetSuite implementation
CPA Controller Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- CPA required
- 10+ years of accounting experience
- Experience working with ERP systems
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to process improve
