Job Description

Our client is on the lookout for a detail-oriented Benefits Analyst. They need someone with strong data analytics skills in Excel and a genuine passion for enhancing employee benefits. This role presents an excellent opportunity to contribute to benefits optimization while offering a flexible hybrid work arrangement. 

 

Benefits Analyst Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct thorough data analytics using Excel to optimize existing benefits processes and contracts, ensuring competitiveness, alignment with employee needs and cost-effectiveness 

  • Take charge of health and welfare benefits administration, serving as the primary contact for employees, providing guidance on benefit options and addressing queries 

  • Analyze financial data related to benefits, 401K plans and pension schemes, collaborating extensively with vendors to ensure alignment with the company's strategic objectives 

  • Maintain precise employee records, closely collaborating with the payroll department to manage benefits deductions and streamline procedures 

  • Assist in elucidating 401K plans during employee onboarding while overseeing profit-sharing and pension data and processes 

  • Facilitate seamless new hire orientation by handling benefits paperwork and delivering comprehensive explanations 

  • Engage in assigned special projects, offering valuable expertise and insights to benefit-related initiatives 

Benefits Analyst Requirements: 

  • Professional experience of 1-3 years  

  • Demonstrated proficiency in data analytics, particularly leveraging Excel for data-driven insights 

  • Preferably experienced in pension management, with a focus on optimizing benefits 

  • Familiarity with 401K plans and a general grasp of HR terminology is advantageous
