LaSalle Network is partnering with a leading real estate firm specializing in student and multifamily property investment, development and management in West Loop, to hire on an Analyst to their Asset Management team. This role is hybrid in office in Fulton Market, Chicago. It is budgeted up to a base of $120,000 with additional annual bonus eligibility.
As an Analyst on our clients’ Asset Management Team, you will play a pivotal role in evaluating and optimizing the performance of their real estate portfolio. You'll work closely with senior team members to analyze financial data, assess market trends and develop strategic recommendations to enhance property value and investment returns.
Analyst – Real Estate Asset Management Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis of real estate assets, including revenue projections, expense forecasting and valuation modeling
- Monitor market trends and property performance metrics to identify opportunities for portfolio optimization
- Prepare comprehensive investment memos, presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including acquisitions, development and operations to support investment decision-making processes
- Assist in the development and implementation of asset management strategies to maximize property value and investment returns
- Support due diligence efforts for potential acquisitions and dispositions, including property inspections, financial review and risk assessment
Analyst – Real Estate Asset Management Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics or related field required
- 2+ years of experience in real estate finance, asset management, investment banking or related field required
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques
- Must have experience create waterfall models in Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and financial analysis software
- Knowledge of real estate markets, trends and investment strategies preferred
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
