LaSalle Network is partnering with a rapidly growing services organization in the western suburbs of Chicago to hire a Contract Recruiter. Reporting directly to the Director of Talent Acquisition, this individual will own full-cycle recruiting while helping build and enhance the organization’s talent acquisition strategy. Following significant headcount growth over the past several months, this is an exciting opportunity to make an immediate impact on hiring initiatives while helping shape the future of the recruiting function.

The ideal candidate brings strong high-volume recruiting experience, particularly within warehouse, manufacturing, and logistics environments, along with the ability to recruit at senior levels. Beyond managing day-to-day hiring needs, the Contract Recruiter will evaluate existing processes, develop more effective sourcing strategies, and leverage recruiting data to drive improvements in hiring and retention. This role is ideal for a strategic, hands-on recruiter who enjoys building processes, partnering with leadership, and has the potential to grow into a Recruiting Manager position.

Contract Recruiter Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full-cycle recruiting process for high-volume and senior-level positions, building and maintaining a strong pipeline of qualified talent.

  • Develop and implement recruiting processes and procedures, including sourcing strategies, applicant tracking system optimization, and candidate evaluation practices.

  • Partner with leadership, hiring managers, and the HR team to align recruiting strategies with business needs and ensure compliance with hiring practices.

  • Oversee relationships with external vendors, including staffing agencies and educational institutions, while managing the recruiting department budget.

  • Analyze recruiting metrics, hiring trends, retention rates, and other workforce data to identify opportunities for improvement and inform talent acquisition strategy.

  • Collaborate with hiring managers across the organization to understand workforce needs, prioritize open positions, and deliver effective recruiting solutions.

Contract Recruiter Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • 5+ years of recruiting experience, including high-volume hiring within manufacturing, warehouse, or logistics environments, as well as senior-level recruiting.

  • Strong understanding of full-cycle recruiting, sourcing strategies, and applicant tracking systems.

  • Experience developing or improving recruiting processes, procedures, and talent acquisition strategies.

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to balance hands-on recruiting responsibilities with a strategic, data-driven approach.

Key Details:

  • Compensation: $40–$50 per hour.

  • Location: Western suburbs of Chicago.
