This is a high visibility role on a lean team with a defined path to Finance Manager for the right person.
Key Details:
- This role follows a 5x in office schedule in West Loop
- Compensation: $110,000-$120,000 base, eligibility to earn discretionary bonus
- Benefits: This role is eligible for a full benefits package – medical, dental, vision.
Responsibilities:
- Own monthly, quarterly, and annual budgeting, forecasting, and P&L consolidation
- Build and maintain dynamic financial models for scenario planning and long range strategic plans
- Partner with Accounting on close accuracy and deliver monthly management reporting packages to senior leadership
- Serve as dedicated finance partner to Sales and Marketing on pricing, trade spend, and promotional ROI
- Develop and track KPIs across commercial functions with clear, actionable insights for functional leaders
- Evaluate new business opportunities and go to market strategies through financial modeling and business case development
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership
Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years of progressive finance experience, ideally in CPG or consumer goods
- Advanced Excel skills required including complex formulas, pivot tables, and scenario analysis
- Hands on experience with ERP and planning tools; Microsoft D365 preferred
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools a plus
- Strong cross functional communication skills with ability to present financials to non-finance audiences
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- CPA, CFA, or MBA a plus but not required
