Our client, a global financial services company, headquartered in the downtown Chicago, is growing exponentially. Because of this growth, they are adding new talent to their Procurement department. They are looking to hire a Senior Procurement Manager in to help with contract management, supplier operations management, project management, and purchasing.
Senior Procurement Manager Responsibilities:
- Act as the procurement and contract management expert for assigned product categories, specifically product-related expenditures
- Manage the negotiation of vendor terms and conditions and associated maintenance and support for agreements
- Coordinate and lead planning continuous improvements initiatives, as well as project management
- Ensure regulatory compliance across all contracts and tranastions
- Meet regularly with the business to ensure needs are met in a timely and accurate fashion
Senior Procurement Manager Requirements:
- Minimum of five years of procurement experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management or related field
- ERP experience required, SAP strongly preferred
