Project Engineer / Senior Designer – Land Development
Compensation: $85,000 – $100,000

As we continue to expand our Land Development team, we’re looking for a Project Engineer / Senior Designer who’s ready to take ownership of technical design, collaborate across disciplines, and help deliver projects that make a lasting impact.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead the technical design and engineering of site development projects from concept through construction.
  • Prepare grading plans, utility layouts, stormwater management systems, and design reports for a variety of commercial, institutional, and residential projects.
  • Manage permitting and regulatory approvals, coordinating with municipal and state agencies.
  • Conduct site visits to review progress and ensure design intent and quality standards are met.
  • Collaborate with architects, developers, contractors, and multi-disciplinary internal teams to deliver cohesive solutions.
  • Mentor junior engineers and designers, providing technical direction and quality oversight.

What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of civil engineering experience, with at least 3 years in land development design.
  • Proficiency in Civil 3D and related design software.
  • Experience with grading, drainage, and utility design; familiarity with zoning and permitting processes.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
