CHICAGO (March 13, 2017) – LaSalle Network, a staffing, recruiting and culture firm headquartered in Chicago, has announced today its recognition on the Companies That Care 2018 “Honor Roll.” This is LaSalle Network’s fourth consecutive year on the list.
The “Honor Roll” recognizes employers for outstanding workplace practices and active community involvement. Companies named to the list excel in the 10 characteristics inherent to a “Company That Cares,” which include: developing great leaders, cultivating the full potential of employees, making employees feel their jobs are important, creating a work environment focused on dignity and respect, supporting the pursuit of work/life balance, appreciating and recognizing contributions of employees, maintaining ethical behavior, providing competitive compensation and benefits, considering the human toll behind every business decision, and volunteering in the community.
In 2017, LaSalle Network instituted a week of giving as part of its anniversary celebration for the second year in a row. To celebrate 19 years, the company donated to five charities in five days and the charities were nominated by employees. In the same year, LaSalle Network’s CSR committee, Community Champions, coordinated more than 50 volunteer activities for employees, who collectively volunteered over 1,000 hours.
