Ken Martin Honored As Top Staffing Industry Employee in Country
CHICAGO –LaSalle Network staffing employee, Ken Martin, has been honored as a 2017 “Employee of the Year All-Star” by the American Staffing Association (ASA). LaSalle Network is a national staffing, recruiting and culture firm.
Annually, ASA recognizes an “All-Star” from five different industries. Martin was recognized for the professional-managerial sector as a brand manager. He began his tenure with LaSalle Network as a contract employee when his position was eliminated after a company restructuring. Since, he has worked on multiple assignments with a consumer goods company in the Chicagoland area.
This announcement comes during National Staffing Employee Week, which honors the contributions of the more than three million temporary and contract employees who work for U.S. staffing, recruiting, and workforce solutions companies during an average week. The “Employee of the Year All-Star” recipients were selected from the following industries: Engineering, IT, and Scientific; Health Care; Industrial; Office-Clerical and Administrative; and Professional-Managerial.
“I’m humbled to be honored alongside these hardworking and successful staffing industry professionals,” said Ken Martin. “I’m extremely grateful for the support I’ve found as a staffing employee. Since making the switch to contract work, Martin has been able to find challenging work he wants, and likes being able to dedicate time to his passions: co-authoring a historical book, restoring historic houses and traveling with his husband.
The honorees will be recognized at ASA’s Staffing World Conference on October 25, 2017, at the McCormick Place Convention Center, located at South Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. Chicago, Ill. 60616.
