LaSalle Network Director of Operations, Christian Cañas, Honored on List of Top Veteran Leaders in Chicago
CHICAGO – Christian Cañas, Army Veteran and Director of Operations at LaSalle Network, a national staffing, recruiting and culture firm, has been recognized on Crain’s Chicago Business’ 2021 “Notable Veteran Executives” list.
Cañas joined LaSalle Network in 2020 to lead the firm’s data and analytics team and to spearhead its veteran hiring initiative, LaSalle Veteran Network. As part of this initiative, LaSalle Network is committed to helping veterans and MiliSpouses in the job-search process and help educate hiring companies on recruiting veteran talent. Since launching the program, Cañas and his team have helped hundreds of veterans in their job search and have partnered with countless organizations to help them hire veteran talent.
Cañas served as a member of the U.S. Army, beginning his service in 2009 at Ft. Benning, GA for basic Infantry training. Later assigned to the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Cañas deployed to Afghanistan for two tours in support of Operation Enduring Freedom as a member of the Bastogne Brigade, 1- 327th Infantry Regiment. Upon completion of his service, Cañas earned both his undergraduate and MBA at Loyola University Chicago. He now finds passion as an advocate for the utilization of the GI Bill for transitioning members of the armed services.
