Technical Program Manager
A growing organization is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead a large-scale enterprise data platform migration initiative.
This individual will partner with engineering, analytics, governance, and business teams to coordinate the migration of data assets from legacy environments into a modern, governed platform. The successful candidate will bring structure, transparency, and execution discipline across multiple concurrent workstreams.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology, business operations, and program leadership.
Responsibilities

Develop and maintain program roadmaps and migration plans

Coordinate work across multiple engineering and business teams

Manage program risks, issues, dependencies, and escalations

Consolidate status reporting and communicate executive-level updates

Facilitate cross-functional decision-making and issue resolution

Support change management activities throughout the migration lifecycle

Maintain centralized program documentation and reporting
-
Track program performance against milestones, KPIs, and success criteria
-
Drive accountability through influence rather than formal authority
Required Qualifications

4+ years of program or project management experience
-
Experience supporting large, complex technology initiatives
-
Experience working directly with data engineering teams or data platforms
-
Strong stakeholder management skills
-
Strong communication and executive presentation abilities

Understanding of Agile delivery methodologies

Ability to operate effectively in highly matrixed environments
Preferred Qualifications

Data platform migration experience

Cloud data warehouse experience

dbt familiarity
-
Data governance experience
-
PMP, SAFe, CSM, or similar certifications

Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, or similar tools
-
Consulting or contract-based program delivery experience

Legacy system retirement experience
Compensation & Benefits

Pay rate: $60-70 per hour

Initial 12-month engagement

Expected total duration approximately 18 months
