As a key member of their finance department, you'll play a crucial role in handling month-end close processes, managing accounts payable and providing insightful reporting to support their continued growth and success.
Staff Accountant Responsibilities:
- Own the month-end close process with precision and accuracy, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
- Manage accounts payable activities, including invoice processing, payment approvals and vendor communication
- Prepare and analyze financial reports and statements, providing valuable insights to drive decision-making
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of teamwork and communication
- Contribute to process improvements and efficiencies, driving continuous improvement in finance operations
Staff Accountant Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in a manufacturing or similar industry
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, with experience in month-end close processes and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
