This is a contract opportunity.
SDET Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain and update a scalable automated testing framework for functional, performance and regression testing
- Collaborate with software developers to create test cases and ensure test coverage
- Design and implement test plans, test cases and test strategies
- Work closely with the development team to identify and resolve software defects
- Report defects and track issues to resolution
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability, maintainability, and performance
- Stay up to date with industry best practices for software testing and automation
- Communicate testing progress and results to stakeholders
SDET Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience in SDET or a related role
- Experience leading the development of scalable automated testing frameworks
- Strong experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python or C#
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
