A leading investment and technology firm has partnered with LaSalle Network to identify a Senior FP&A Analyst for their Shared Services Organization.

Reporting to the FP&A Manager, this analyst will deliver business insight and drive improvement of all FP&A functions across our portfolio of subsidiary entities.

This is an analytical-focused role for someone who can assess and present financial data to drive business decisions, improve cross-business reporting and budgeting processes, and partner strategically with business leaders and senior management.

Compensation: $88,000-$110,000 base salary (commensurate with experience)

Work model: Hybrid- up to 2 days/week remote

Location: Chicago, IL

What you’ll do

Collaborate with business leaders and senior management to prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages that drive business decisions

Monitor and analyze monthly financial results, identify relevant trends and key drivers of budget variances, and advise senior leadership of opportunities and risks impacting the organization

Provide value-added analytical management reporting, including ad hoc requests, to help the organization understand cost changes and identify efficiency opportunities

Develop annual budgets and financial forecasts that drive appropriate and timely decision-making; create and maintain detailed budgeting templates

Continuously improve and automate financial management processes and analytical tools needed to deliver reporting and budgeting

Drive cross-business standardization for all FP&A processes

Build and enhance financial models to evaluate new business and revenue opportunities, and expense reduction initiatives

Assist in the development and enhancement of internal cost allocation methodologies

Manipulate large data sets to summarize for management reporting, determine results, or reveal trends

Develop credibility and build partnerships with key contacts across the organization to facilitate efficiency and process improvement

What we’re looking for

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)

3-5 years of relevant experience in Accounting and Finance/FP&A (required)

Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills (required)

NetSuite or Adaptive Insights experience (preferred)

Strong grasp of income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow financial statements with ability to analyze financial results and assess financial impacts of business decisions

Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills; ability to convey information to all levels of the organization in a clear, focused, and concise manner
