Senior Accountant

What’s the job?

• Prepare and review monthly journal entries and consolidations

• Lead month-end close processes and financial analyses

• Compile reports for management, directors and regulatory bodies

• Analyze account balances and maintain supporting documentation

• Support equity method accounting and partnership accounting

• Monitor sales activity, pricing and financial trends

• Reconcile intercompany transactions

• Present insights to leadership and cross-functional teams

• Identify and implement process improvements

What’s needed?

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

• Active CPA required

• 3+ years of accounting experience

• Strong understanding of accounting principles

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel-heavy)

• SAP experience preferred

• Ability to manage deadlines and shifting priorities

• Strong communication and analytical skills

Key Details

• Compensation: $105,000 base and eligible to earn a 5% bonus

• Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision

• Location: Northbrook, IL

• Work Model: Hybrid (3 days onsite)
