LaSalle Network is partnering with a growing food manufacturing organization to hire a Quality Documentation Specialist to support food safety, quality systems, and regulatory compliance initiatives. This role will be responsible for developing and maintaining quality documentation, supporting food safety programs, assisting with audits, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal standards.

What's the job?

  • Develop, maintain, and organize food safety and quality documentation

  • Create and update product specifications, certificates of analysis, and other quality-related documents

  • Support food safety compliance programs and regulatory documentation requirements

  • Assist with the development and maintenance of quality management systems and document control processes

  • Ensure compliance with GMP, food safety, allergen, and quality standards

  • Support internal, customer, and third-party audits by preparing and maintaining required documentation

  • Assist with training documentation and records management related to GMP and food safety programs

  • Maintain quality records and ensure documentation accuracy and completeness

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Operations, Regulatory, and Customer teams

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to food safety, quality, and compliance

  • Serve as a backup resource for quality-related activities as needed


What's needed?

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Quality Assurance, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field

  • 1–3 years of experience in food manufacturing, quality assurance, food safety, regulatory affairs, or compliance

  • Understanding of food safety regulations, GMPs, and quality systems

  • Experience with document control, specification management, or compliance documentation

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience supporting audits, food safety programs, or regulatory compliance initiatives is preferred

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within cross-functional teams
