LaSalle Network is partnering with a global infrastructure and construction solutions organization to hire a Mechanic to support equipment reliability, preventive maintenance, and warehouse operations. This role will be responsible for maintaining specialized mechanical equipment, performing repairs, troubleshooting operational issues, and ensuring critical tools and machinery are ready to support customer and production needs. The ideal candidate is a hands-on mechanical professional who enjoys problem-solving, working independently, and keeping equipment operating safely and efficiently.

What's the job?

  • Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical equipment and warehouse machinery
  • Maintain and repair hydraulic equipment, pumps, gauges, lifting devices, conveyors, forklifts, saws, and other production support equipment
  • Inspect returned equipment, diagnose issues, and complete necessary repairs for redeployment
  • Configure and prepare equipment for customer orders and operational requirements
  • Support equipment inventory management and maintain visibility into equipment status and location
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, repair logs, and service documentation
  • Coordinate maintenance activities with warehouse and production teams to minimize operational disruptions
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergency repair requests in a timely manner
  • Ensure tools, replacement parts, and maintenance supplies are properly organized and maintained
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives that enhance equipment reliability and operational efficiency
  • Support a safe work environment by following all maintenance, safety, and operational procedures

What's needed?

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Technical certification, vocational training, or mechanical maintenance training preferred
  • 3+ years of industrial maintenance, mechanical repair, warehouse maintenance, or manufacturing maintenance experience
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
  • Experience working with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, or industrial equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, schematics, and maintenance documentation
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and mechanical repair equipment
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple maintenance activities
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, or industrial environments preferred
  • Mechatronics or related technical education is a plus
