What's the job?
- Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical equipment and warehouse machinery
- Maintain and repair hydraulic equipment, pumps, gauges, lifting devices, conveyors, forklifts, saws, and other production support equipment
- Inspect returned equipment, diagnose issues, and complete necessary repairs for redeployment
- Configure and prepare equipment for customer orders and operational requirements
- Support equipment inventory management and maintain visibility into equipment status and location
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, repair logs, and service documentation
- Coordinate maintenance activities with warehouse and production teams to minimize operational disruptions
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergency repair requests in a timely manner
- Ensure tools, replacement parts, and maintenance supplies are properly organized and maintained
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives that enhance equipment reliability and operational efficiency
- Support a safe work environment by following all maintenance, safety, and operational procedures
What's needed?
- High school diploma or GED required
- Technical certification, vocational training, or mechanical maintenance training preferred
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance, mechanical repair, warehouse maintenance, or manufacturing maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
- Experience working with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, or industrial equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, schematics, and maintenance documentation
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and mechanical repair equipment
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple maintenance activities
- Experience supporting manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, or industrial environments preferred
- Mechatronics or related technical education is a plus
