Our client, a high growth real estate company, is looking for a Property Accountant to join their growing office downtown. Generating approximately $2.5 billion in revenue each year, this award-winning company has been recognized for its fast growth for the past several years. They’re hiring a Property Accountant that will play a critical role on their property accounting team.
In addition to the core property accounting responsibilities, this Property Accountant will be heavily involved in the accounting surrounding newly acquired properties. This role is budgeted up to a $65,000 base salary.
Property Accountant Responsibilities:
- Own full month end close responsibilities for a portfolio of properties including account and bank reconciliations and journal entries
- Analyze and review bad debt reserves
- Prepare budgets, re-forecasts and cash projections
- Manage relationships with Property management and Asset Managers
Property Accountant Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 3-5 years of property accounting experience
- Prior Yardi experience preferred
