Payroll Specialist Responsibilities:
- Process bi-weekly or semi-monthly payroll for hourly and salaried employees
- Check and validate payroll prior to transmission through the automated banking system
- Manage pay for annual or semi-annual bonuses including quarterly bonus, holiday bonus and unused vacation
- Review employee records for accuracy of employee data and approval of payroll deductions
Payroll Specialist Requirements:
- 1+ years of work experience processing payroll
- Prior experience processing payroll for a large national organization is preferred
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required
- Experience working with a large payroll system such as ADP, Ultipro, Ceridian, etc. is preferred
