Our client, a respected company within the Building Materials industry, is seeking a seasoned Payroll Manager to join their growing team. In this on-site role, you'll be responsible for ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time. You'll oversee all aspects of payroll processing, from managing data to adhering to complex tax regulations.
Payroll Manager Responsibilities:
- Overseeing all aspects of payroll processing for a multi-state and Canadian workforce, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Implementing and maintaining best practices within UKG Payroll, a leading payroll software platform
- Managing the payroll software implementation process, ensuring a smooth transition and ongoing system optimization
- Ensuring compliance with all federal, state and local tax regulations
- Providing exceptional support to internal departments and employees on all payroll-related matters
Payroll Manager Requirements:
- In-depth knowledge of UKG Payroll and its functionalities
- 5+ years of experience in a Payroll Manager role
- Proven experience with a successful payroll software implementation
- Experience processing multi-state and/or Canadian payroll
- A strong understanding of federal, state and local payroll tax regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills
