This Payroll Specialist will be responsible for high-volume, multi-state payroll processing for multiple sites within the organization.
Payroll Specialist Responsibilities:
- Expertly manage the bi-monthly payroll processing for employees across multiple states in the United States, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant regulations
- Skillfully generate and meticulously post payroll accounting entries, demonstrating a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining precise financial records
- Develop comprehensive payroll reports that provide valuable insights into key financial metrics, enabling informed decision-making by the leadership team
- Handle garnishment, wage requests and 401(k) contributions with efficiency and accuracy, ensuring timely and compliant processing to meet legal and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with the team to identify and implement process improvements, leveraging a proactive and solutions-oriented approach to streamline workflows and enhance overall efficiency
Payroll Specialist Requirements:
- 3+ years of Payroll Experience
- ADP experience required
- ADP Workforce Now experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
