Tired of sitting at home unsure what to jump into next? Our client, a rising non-for-profit organization in the Chicagoland area, is looking to add a Part-time Controller to their team. This non-profit emphasizes community education to raise awareness about domestic violence's impact on individuals, families, and the community, highlighting the importance of victim rights.
The Part-time Controller will take ownership of core accounting and reporting processes and ensure financial duties are done effectively, accurately and timely. The ideal candidate is someone who brings a positive attitude and strong business acumen to effectively deal with new tasks and challenges in a fast-paced environment.
Part-time Controller Responsibilities:

Ensures that payables invoices are processed on a timely basis

Determines level of plant location interaction on payables management
-
Oversees outside agency payment communications, processing and reporting standards

Maintains records of any electronic payments, via outside agency or internally generated

Maintains organization of historical invoices processed

Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities as well as organizational skills, with an ability to multitask

Accounting projects as assigned
Part-time Controller Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or another business-related field required

5+ years of related experience
-
CPA preferred
-
Experience with NetSuite and SAP Concur accounting software preferred
