Compensation: $22–$25 per hour (based on experience)
We are a rapidly growing logistics company providing nationwide warehousing, distribution, and transportation services. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a high-performing Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Finance team.
The Accounts Payable Specialist will manage a high volume of invoices in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely and accurate processing. This individual will work closely with vendors, internal operations, and the accounting team to maintain data integrity and support month-end close activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile high-volume invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Review invoices for proper coding, approvals, and compliance with company policies
- Match purchase orders, packing slips, and invoices to ensure accuracy
- Maintain vendor files and manage vendor communications, including resolution of discrepancies
- Assist with weekly payment runs and expense reports
- Support month-end closing tasks including AP accruals and reporting
- Collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, operations, and warehouse teams
- Drive process improvement and contribute to AP best practices
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required
- 2+ years of high-volume Accounts Payable experience within a large corporate environment
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
