Motion Graphic Designer Responsibilities:
- Create high-quality 2D motion graphics and animations for various projects, including educational videos, presentations, social media content and digital campaigns
- Collaborate with the content development team to understand project requirements and deliver creative solutions that align with educational goals and branding guidelines
- Develop storyboards and visual concepts to effectively communicate ideas and workflows
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in motion graphics and 2D animation
Motion Graphic Design Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Motion Graphic Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing 2D animation projects
- Proficiency in industry-standard animation and design software such as Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop and other relevant tools
- Strong understanding of animation principles, storytelling and visual design
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a remote team
- Experience working on educational content is a plus
- Chicago-based applicants preferred but not required
