Our client, a fast-growing company offering supply chain solutions, is looking to hire a Logistics Pricing Analyst for their office in downtown Chicago. They offer a beautiful office space overlooking the river and pride themselves on a dedicated, vibrant culture.
Our client is looking to bring a new addition to their intermodal over-the-road pricing team. This role will be focused primarily on dry- and flat-bed vans, analyzing the market and looking at trends, to identify the best quotes and prices for the organization's customers.
Logistics Pricing Analyst Responsibilities:
- Analyze profitability of vendors for both dry- and flat-bed van options across the network of partnerships
- Work closely with carrier development to ensure KPIs are being met
- Provide recommendations to optimize freight options
- Analyze and look at market and trends in order to stay updated on market values for customers
- Assistance in the completion of RFP requests for over-the-road freight
Logistics Pricing Analyst Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in over-the-road pricing analysis
- Dry- and Flat-Bed Van pricing analysis preferred
- Intermediate Excel proficiency required
- Experience in market and trend analysis
