Our client, located in the southwestern suburbs of Chicago, is seeking a member to join their rapidly growing distribution company as a Part-time Merchandise Coordinator. In this position, a candidate will be responsible for developing planogram instructions for the company’s novelty products that will be distributed to some of the world’s largest retailers including Amazon and Walmart.
Part-time Merchandise Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Design detailed information packets equipped with planogram instructions
- Collaborate with internal departments including operations, planning and third party merchandisers to improve visual retail appearance
- Allocate needed materials, effectively manage projects in a timely matter and regularly update vendors on all necessary instruction
- Research, analyze and update product orders into the system
- Assist in surge projects and POS placement
Part-time Merchandise Coordinator Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, marketing or a related field preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience using or creating Planograms
- Merchandising experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- SAP experience is a plus
