We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Insurance Follow-Up Representative to join the team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance follow-up processes, with specific experience working with Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs). 

 

Insurance Follow-Up Representative Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct follow-up with insurance companies to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement 

  • Identify and resolve insurance claim issues and denials 

  • Review and appeal denied claims as necessary 

  • Verify insurance coverage and benefits for patients 

  • Collaborate with billing and coding teams to resolve claim discrepancies 

Insurance Follow-Up Representative Requirements: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent 

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in insurance follow-up within a healthcare setting 

  • Experience working with Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) highly preferred 

  • Strong understanding of insurance billing processes and regulations 

  • Proficiency in MS Office and experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems 

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
