Enterprise Business Architect
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Business Architect to connect business strategy with enterprise technology execution for a large, complex organization. This is not a Solutions Architect role. The ideal candidate will have recent business architecture experience and broad technical knowledge across application, data, integration, and cloud environments.
Responsibilities

Lead business capability modeling, value stream mapping, and business process analysis.

Translate strategic priorities and operating needs into enterprise capabilities and technology roadmaps.

Partner with business and technology leaders to identify gaps, dependencies, risks, and improvement opportunities.

Participate in Architecture Review Board activities and evaluate alignment with business objectives and enterprise standards.

Support architecture governance, standards, decision frameworks, and documentation.

Use Ardoq or a comparable enterprise architecture platform to improve architecture visibility and business value.

Present recommendations clearly to executive, business, and technical stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
-
8+ years of enterprise architecture experience in a large, complex organization.

Recent, clearly demonstrated experience as an Enterprise Business Architect.

Hands-on experience with capability modeling, value stream mapping, and business process analysis.

Experience developing enterprise roadmaps based on business strategy and priorities.

Architecture Review Board participation and broad technical knowledge, including cloud.

Experience with an enterprise architecture platform such as Ardoq, LeanIX, Bizzdesign, Mega HOPEX, or Sparx Enterprise Architect.

Working knowledge of TOGAF, Zachman, or another enterprise architecture framework.

Strong executive communication, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in utilities, energy, financial services, government, or another regulated industry.

Experience supporting critical infrastructure.

Cloud exposure across AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

Experience leading architecture governance or an Architecture Review Board.
-
TOGAF or another enterprise architecture certification.

Duration: 6 months, with potential extension to 12 months
