LaSalle Network has partnered with a globally recognized industry leader in exterior home and outdoor living solutions to identify an experienced, dynamic HR Representative II. This role will directly partner with the HR Manager(s) to develop employee capabilities, improve plant performance, and implement key HR strategies across two manufacturing facilities located in Tacoma, WA.

What You Will Do

  • Employee Relations & Morale: Partner with plant functional areas to ensure the integrity of employee relations. Drive initiatives to improve communications, lead focus groups to capture engagement feedback, and manage employee retention and recognition programs.

  • Recruitment & Staffing: Participate in and lead the hourly recruiting and staffing strategy and execution for the manufacturing plants.

  • Training & Development: Schedule, facilitate, and conduct New Hire Orientation. Execute and organize material for training programs, track development progress, and assist with high-potential and succession planning initiatives.

  • HR Administration & Compliance: Execute day-to-day administration for payroll, compensation, benefits, workers' compensation, safety, and legal compliance (including FMLA and ADA).

  • Data & Reporting: Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date HR files and employment records in full accordance with company policies and legal requirements. Update reports, logs, and database records.

  • Site Support: Provide superior administrative support by quickly responding to employment-related inquiries from plant personnel and department leaders.


What You'll Bring

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field.

  • Experience: 3–5+ years of generalist HR experience. Experience working in a heavy manufacturing environment is required.

  • Core HR Knowledge: Strong background in employee relations, performance management, training and development, recruitment, and union avoidance.

  • Legal Compliance: Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state employment laws, equal employment guidelines, FMLA, ADA, and safety/workers' compensation administration.

  • Technical Skills: Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and ability to learn proprietary software quickly.

  • Key Competencies: Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple priorities under pressure, sound judgment for problem-solving, a strong results orientation, and the absolute discretion to handle confidential information ethically.
