Grant Accounting Consultant Responsibilities:
- Oversee the financial management of state and federal grants that fuel their mission
- Ensure grant compliance and ethical use of funds to maximize their impact on beneficiaries
- Meticulously track and categorize grant-related expenses to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Foster trust with funders with the preparation of accurate and transparent monthly reports for grant spending
Grant Accounting Consultant Requirements:
- Possess a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related business field
- 5+ years of experience in grant management within the non-profit or research institute sector
- Combine your advanced Excel skills with the ability to understand, analyze and interpret financial data in various formats
